COOPERS EXTENDS HOME OF FOOTBALL SPONSORSHIP

Coopers Brewery signs five-year extension to its naming rights sponsorship of Coopers Stadium at Hindmarsh.

Latest agreement extends the Brewery’s sponsorship of the Stadium through to 2028.

Sponsorship includes pourage rights over Adelaide Venue Management’s venues; Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.

South Australian family-owned Coopers Brewery has announced a five-year extension of its naming rights sponsorship of Coopers Stadium at Hindmarsh.

The extension takes the partnership out to 2028, representing a 15-year investment by Coopers in South Australia’s home of football.

Coopers Brewery Marketing and Innovation Director Cam Pearce said Coopers was proud to be a long running supporter of football in its home state.

“We’re delighted to maintain naming rights over Coopers Stadium,” Mr Pearce said.
“Our latest investment reflects not only our long-term commitment to Coopers Stadium, but also our involvement in football here in South Australia.

“We’re excited to see the stadium upgrade begin to take shape and for Coopers to play a role in what promises to be an amazing game day experience for spectators in the seasons ahead.”

Coopers Stadium is currently undergoing a $53 million upgrade which is scheduled for completion in December 2022.

Phil King, General Manager Coopers Stadium, welcomed the sponsorship deal which will also see Coopers retain pourage rights over the Adelaide Convention Centre and Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

“The Coopers name is synonymous with South Australian hospitality, and is one of our state’s most trusted brands,” Mr King said.

“At a time when it would have been very easy to walk-away from the sponsorship given the challenges of the past two years, it’s impressive that Coopers has continued to remain fiercely loyal to football. We’re proud to showcase Coopers’ famous South Australian beers across Adelaide Venue Management’s three venues.”

Founded in 1862, Coopers is the largest independent family-owned brewery in Australia.

“We’re excited to see the stadium upgrade begin to take shape and for Coopers to play a role in what promises to be an amazing game day experience for spectators in the seasons ahead.”
