We Liked It So We Put a Ring Pull on It

One of our much-loved ales, Coopers Dark Ale, is now available in a new format for the very first time.

This brewery favourite is now available in 375 mL cans alongside 375 mL stubbies and on tap. That’s right, the much-requested Coopers Dark Ale can is here!

This has been one of the most requested formats across Coopers social media channels and the customer care team’s inboxes.

“More and more fans have been asking for Dark Ale in a can to the point that it’s been our most requested new product development in the past 12 months,” Coopers Managing Director Michael Shearer said.

The striking new brown can will be available nationwide from May 7 (today!). You’ll be able to get the new Dark Ale cans from wherever you normally get your Dark Ale stubbies.

This one’s a favourite around the brewery for good reason. It’s full of rich chocolate, coffee and roasted flavours, but don’t be fooled by the colour.

Dark Ale is easy-drinking and won’t weigh you down.

"Coopers Dark Ale is a warming, yet lighter dark beer that is a firm favourite among our Coopers team. They have been known to drink a bar dry of its Dark Ale on tap at more than one social club event. Having grown up in and around our brewery, I’ve enjoyed many different beers that we have produced over the years. I have come to appreciate the beautiful, rich chocolate, coffee, and roasted flavours of Dark Ale. Like our Original Pale Ale, it has a refreshing lighter style that I enjoy all year round, not just in autumn or winter." MEL COOPER, CHAIR OF BOARD / DIRECTOR

Coopers Dark Ale cans are rolling into all good independent bottleshops where you normally get your Dark Ale stubbies.

For SA drinkers, this includes Star Liquor, Fassina, SipnSave and Thirsty Camel stores.

WA drinkers, please note that stock of Dark Ale 375 mL cans will be arriving after May 19.
