COOPERS XPA GOES EXTRA BIG
The much-loved Coopers XPA has always been ‘extra’ thanks to its bold hop aromas – but now it’s ‘extra big’.
Australia’s largest independent family-owned brewery is releasing the popular ale in a special limited edition 440ml can.
Coopers XPA, which stands for extra pale ale, is popular among craft beer drinkers across the country for its well-balanced and easy-to-drink flavour.
Simcoe and Lemondrop American hops added at different stages of the brewing process contribute to an optimal bitterness level and bright citrus undertones.
Coopers Brewery General Manager, Michael Shearer, said Coopers drinkers had appreciated the large can format.
“Australians have responded with enthusiasm to our larger can formats since we first released a limited-edition Original Pale Ale 440ml in 2019,” he said.
“This year, we’re pleased to debut another limited-edition release with XPA packaged in 440ml cans for the first time.“
As a style, XPA has maintained its popularity among Australian drinkers and we’ve heeded calls for Coopers XPA to join the large can lineup.
“Coopers XPA 440ml arrives just in time for barbeques and festive gatherings ahead of the September football finals action and busy holiday season.
”Like all Coopers ales, XPA is naturally conditioned and free from any additives or preservatives. It has an ABV of 5.2% and 37 international bitterness units (IBU).
Coopers XPA 440ml cans will be available from September for a limited time only.
