Ales and Stout / Mild Ale 3.5%
Coopers Mild Ale 3.5%
Mild by name but not by nature, Coopers Mild Ale is a mid-strength beer that delivers full-bodied flavour. Milder than our Sparkling or Pale, it’s earned its place as a sessionable brew, crafted for those looking for the best mid-strength beer Australia has to offer.
The Brew
23
Delivers a crisp bitterness
08
Deep and rich gold appearance
3.5
Mid strength
THE CRAFT
Like all of our ales, Coopers Mild is naturally conditioned with a small amount of live yeast added just before packaging. This triggers secondary fermentation in the bottle, can or keg, which carbonates the mid-strength beer and eliminates the need for any preservatives or additives.
THE TASTE
Don’t let its name fool you – Coopers Mild Ale is a mid-strength beer that’s still packed full of flavour. Its smooth malt character is balanced by double hopping with Pride of Ringwood and Saaz hops for a satisfying, sessionable finish.
THE EXPERIENCE
"In 2003, I was asked by publicans to make a lower alcohol form of Coopers Pale Ale,” says Dr Tim Cooper, managing director and chief brewer at Coopers Brewery. “Coopers Mild Ale 3.5% is as far as I wanted to go. Our success as brewers is validated when we often get confused as to which beer we’re drinking when approving kegs for sale."
