We’re open for tours and tastings, an afternoon pint with mates, or a long lunch with the family from 28 August 2024.
Join a group of fellow beer fans and go behind the scenes at Coopers Brewery. You’ll learn about our 160+ years of history and how we make our iconic beers, and be guided through our brewing process and packaging line. You’ll finish your tour with a tasting of five Coopers beers, including a limited-edition specialty brew exclusive to our taproom.

Grab your best mates and go deep inside Coopers with one of our expert brewers (or even a member of the Cooper family!). You’ll get backstage access to our brewery, learn how we craft our maltings, and get a glimpse of our microbrewery and distillery. Your tour will finish with a VIP tasting, where we’ll open some of our best back vintages and limited-edition beers from our microbrewery. Then, it’s time for our resident chef to prepare a three course lunch, thoughtfully designed to complement your beer pairing. You can expect fresh local produce with unexpected Coopers flavours – and they’ll even be on hand to help you pick the perfect beer pairings.

Stop by for a freshly-poured pint direct from the brewery or settle in for the day with your family. There’s plenty of room around the bar, and outside in the plaza for you all to explore. We’ve also set up games for kids of all ages to enjoy on the plaza. Our resident chef has designed a bar snacks menu for all-day grazing, which is best savoured with a coldie from our classic collection of ales, stouts and lagers – or you can give the beer of the moment from our microbrewery a crack. Coopers Brewery opens to the public on Wednesday 28 August 2024 from 10am-6pm. After launch day, the brewery will be open Tuesday through to Saturday, from 10am-6pm. Walk-ins are always welcome.
We’re just as serious about food as we are about beer – and if you’re a Coopers drinker, you’ll know we mean business. The Coopers kitchen is led by chef Fabio Castello, who has crafted a seasonal menu packed with the best SA produce and unexpected Coopers flavours. Chef Fabio brings more than 16 years’ experience to the Coopers Brewery kitchen, including stints at Brazil’s two Michelin-starred D.O.M. Restaurante in São Paulo, and some of Melbourne’s most renowned restaurants: Vue de monde, Ilona Staller, Massi, Mister Bianco and The Que Club. Drawing on his diverse culinary background, chef Fabio’s menu is inspired by South American and Mediterranean cuisine, and driven by sustainability. The menu celebrates Coopers premium beers and organic seasonal ingredients sourced from South Australia’s leading farms, fishmongers and producers. Highlights include the crumbed veal cutlet with braised leek and parmesan custard, and Coopers Original Pale Ale-battered flathead with classic chips and pink River Murray salt. Share plates and a range of burgers, pizzas and plant-based options compliment our new brews, available only at the home of Coopers.
The Coopers microbrewery is where our brewing team gets creative, and most importantly, crafts their ‘beer of the moment’ so you can taste it on tap.While you’re checking out our microbrewery, you might notice our growing collection of distilling equipment and whisky barrels.
